Seattle Children's Museum Presents: Spring Movie Morning Fundraiser

Bring the whole family out to enjoy a special screening of Toy Story 3, a heartfelt adventure about growing up, friendship, and letting go. It’s the perfect way to spend a cozy morning together, complete with popcorn, community, and an adventurous film for all ages with Seattle Children’s Museum at Majestic Bay Theatres on Saturday, April 25th.

One of the theaters will offer a sensory-friendly experience, providing a calmer, less stimulating environment for those who prefer it.

Whether it’s your child’s first time at the theatre or they’re already movie-going pros, this event is a great outing for everyone.

This ticketed event is open to the public, and all proceeds go directly to the Seattle Children’s Museum, helping us continue to inspire play, curiosity, and learning in our amazing community.

Concessions are included in the ticket price, and SCM Staff will also have themed table activities in the upstairs lobby.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and may not be available for in-person purchase at the theater.

Standard Screening

Q: Where is the movie being shown?

A: Our Movie Morning featuring Toy Story 3 will be at Majestic Bay Theatres in Ballard at 2044 NW Market St, Seattle, WA 98107.

Q: How much are tickets?

A: Movie Morning tickets prices are as follows and INCLUDE small concessions from the theatre concession stand:

Adult (Ages 18-65): $15

Children (Ages 1+): $12

Children (Under 1): Free

Q: Where can I park?

A: According to the Majestic Bay Theatres website, there is two-hour street parking available on Market Street and longer street parking and paid lots located a block north of the theatre.

Plan to arrive early to secure a parking spot before the movie starts and note that street parking requires payment on Saturdays.

Q: Can I bring my stroller?

A: Majestic Bay Theatres does not have any designated spaces for stroller parking. We suggest coming without a stroller unless absolutely necessary.

Q: What age range is this event designed for?

A:  This is a family-friendly film meant for all ages.

Q: What is a "Sensory-Friendly Screening"?

A: Our sensory-friendly screening will provide a calmer, less stimulating environment for those who prefer it. Lights will be dim, rather than completely blacked out, volume will be slightly lower, closed captions will be turned on, and sensory toys will be available.

We encourage parents to bring any sensory toys that their little ones enjoy as well, however we do ask that the toys not make noise.

Q: Are outside food and/or drinks allowed in the theatre?

A: A small selection of concessions will be available and are included in the cost of the ticket, so we kindly ask that outside food and drinks stay at home. However, we know coffee is a morning must so parents and caregivers are welcome to bring their lidded coffee into the theatre!
