Frequently Asked Questions

What is Museums for All?

“Museums for all” is a nationwide initiative that aims to ensure that every family and child has access to a high quality museum experience. Families with EBT, CHIP, WIC, Provider One, or Apple Health are able to access SCM offerings at discounted rates. Proof of qualification for this rate is required at check-in on the 1st day of class.

Who qualifies as a "caregiver"?

SCM considers caregivers to be individuals at least 18 years old.

How do "drop off" classes work?

Drop Off

Please arrive a few minutes before class to check in for class at SCM’s front desk and have children use the restroom. Caregivers are required walk program participants to the program and sign them in with the educator leading the program. Once the child is signed into the program with the educator you are welcome to play in the museum if you have additional children with you or take a break in the Armoy food court upstairs.

Pick Up

Please arrive on time for pick up and check in with the front desk. Make your way to the program. The educator leading the program will have you sign the child out.

Late Fee

If you are late to pick up SCM reserves the right to charge $1 per minute the child remains in our care beyond the end of class. Repeated late pick-ups can result in the child being removed from the program.
