Seattle Children's Museum's Prideful Playdate
Saturday, May 30, 2026 | 10am - 5pm (9:30am entry for Members)

Join us for Prideful Playdate, sponsored by Stoel Rives, to celebrate everything that makes you and your family wonderfully unique. Express yourself through hands-on art, science, and play as you and your little ones share the joy of Pride together.

At Seattle Children’s Museum, we believe you deserve a place to belong. Come create, share your joy, and help us kick off Pride Month in a meaningful way.

Attend a Drag Story Time, dance to tunes with a real DJ, get temporary glitter tattoos, make your own identity bracelets, add to our collaborative sculpture, design a pride flag representing your family, and connect with local LGBTQ+ family resources.

We’ll also be joined by incredible community partners throughout the day:

Rip & Stick Collaging & Identity Card-Making with Queer Artist, Moorea Seal | 10am – 12pm
Tabling with Rat City Roller Derby | Time: 12pm – 2pm
Drag Story Time & Meet & Greet with Aleksa Manila | Time: 1pm – 3pm

Q: I want to make sure my family can attend Drag Story Time and/or the DJ Dance Party. Which time entry should I purchase?

A: Drag Story Time with Aleksa Manila begins at 1pm. We recommend choosing the 12pm-1pm time window when purchasing your tickets so that you’re already in the Museum by 1pm.

The DJ Dance Party also begins at 1pm, but if your priority isn’t attending story time, the 1pm-2pm or 2pm-3pm time window both give you time to enjoy the DJ’s tunes!

Q: Are all activities happening all day?

A: Some activities are staff-led and happen throughout the day at specified times, while others are available all day. Activities led by community partners are as follows:

Q: Are there any ticket discounts available?

A: Our Museums for All Discount will be available on all pricing tiers for qualifying families receiving government assistance like food stamps, WIC, EBT, Provider One, Apple Health, or similar. Please use discount code  “MFA50” at checkout to redeem the discount and have proof of your program participation available upon arrival at the Museum.
