Full-Day Mid-Winter Break Camp at Seattle Children’s Museum – Magic Museum
February 20 – 23, 2024 | 9:00am – 4:00pm with camp extended care add-on available
Ages: 5 – 7 years
In Magic Museum, your camper will get to enjoy a curriculum provided by instructors from both Seattle Children’s Museum and Seattle Children’s Theater. In the mornings, campers will explore magic and chemical changes through glitter and glow slime, color-changing playdough, and circuitry.
In the afternoons, educators from Seattle Children’s Theater will help us explore a fantastical world full of clues left by colorful and mysterious characters. Students will discover new ways to use voices, bodies, and imaginations to piece together their gathered clues and solve the big mystery.
Activities May Include:
– Alka-seltzer rockets
– Creating glitter collages
– Playing with glow slime and color changing playdough
– Conducting experiments and creating magical potions
