Q: Where is Camp Drop-off?

A: Camp drop-off is located at the MoPOP Roundabout. Our instructors will be waiting to meet you there before walking the campers over to the Museum. Please ensure your camper is dressed appropriately for potential inclement weather!

Q: What is Extended Camp Care? How do I sign up?

A: Extended Camp Care is available for an additional $50/Camp Session and allows you to drop off your child as early as 8:30am. For Half-Day Camps, extended care runs until 12:30pm, and for Full-Day Camps, extended care runs until 4:30pm. Q: Is camp registration refundable?

A: Camp is partially refundable until two weeks out from your registered camp session’s start date. Your refund will be issued to the payment method used to register excluding the $50 Program Fee. To request a refund, please email

Q: For Magic Museum Camp, is my child being walked between Seattle Children's Museum & Seattle Children's Theater?

A: SCT educators will be doing the commuting and coming into the Museum to lead their portion of Magic Museum Camp. Your campers will get to enjoy a controlled environment in the same learning atmosphere, and the new instructors will come to them for the afternoon!

Q: How will I be notified if a day of camp is cancelled due to extreme inclement weather?

A: While we do not anticipate to cancel any of our camp days, in the event of extreme snow, ice, or other forms of inclement weather, the Museum may close to the public for staff and visitor safety. In the event of a Museum closure and camp cancellation, you will be notified via email and the Museum will post on its social channels. You’ll also receive a partial refund for each day(s) cancelled.

Q: When will summer camps open for registration?

A: Summer Camp pre-sale, exclusive to SCM Members, will open at 10am PST on Friday, January 26. All members will receive an email with their access link. Q: Is there a limit to how many sessions I may sign my child(ren) up for?

A: So long as your child is within the designated age range for each camp, you’re welcome and encouraged to sign up for as many as you wish!
